'Defamiliarization'
 

The creative director of MÜNN, Hyun-min Han graduated from Samsung art & Design Institute(SADI)
and gained invaluable experience at WOOYOUNGMI.

Hyun-min Han launched MÜNN with a goal of minimalism and emotional honesty in 2013.
MÜNN is inspired by the 60’s made-to-order high quality ethic and are diligently researching
the use of new silhouettes, materials, unfamiliar details and pattern, as well as reinforcing
the inner construction of the clothing back then.

Our workshops consist of skilled specialists, with years of experience, creating the highest quality.
In a nutshell, our MÜNN’s identity can be defined as “Luxurious defamiliarization”.
Our sense is usually automatic and locked within the boundaries of habit. Although our routine
lives have lost the true meaning of fashion due to habitual exposure, our brand was conceived to break
this continuous dull exposure, and create a new extended sensual experience for the audience.
These foreign concepts will be represented in the detail and materials used in our products,
and we will continue to challenge the old concepts of fashion.
